Naga Babu’s daughter and Varun Tej’s sister Niharika Konidela tied the knot with boyfriend Chaitanya Jonnalagedda today at 7:15 PM in Udaipur and the pre-wedding festivities have flagged off in the romantic city with Sangeet, Haldi, Mehendi and sundowner. The star-studded event was attended by Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, Allu Sirish, Sai Dharam Tej, Kalyaan Dhev and others. Currently working as a Business Strategistat an MNC, Niharika’s boyfriend hails from Hyderabad. An alumnus of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, BITSPilani and the Indian School of Business, he is the son of Guntur’s Inspector General of Police J Prabhakar Rao. Niharika is the niece of MegastarChiranjeevi and daughter of actor-producer Naga Babu.

Actor-producer Niharika Konidela who is all set to marry Chaitanya Jonnalagadda on Wednesday in Udaipur’s Udaivilas Palace, had haldi ceremony at the same venue this morning. Photos from the duo’s haldi ceremony shared on social media show Niharika in a bright yellow saree and Chaitanya in a yellow Kurta.Niharika’s father, Naga Babu, shared a video from the event, saying, Painting the skies of Udaipur yellow. In the video, the bride and groom can be seen walking in for the ceremony with traditional music playing, along with their families dressed in white and yellow colours, matching with the haldi ceremony theme. The much-anticipated wedding of Tollywood actor Niharika Konidela to her fiance Chaitanya Jonnalagadda finally took place on Wednesday at 7.15 pm in Udaivilas Palace in Udaipur. The wedding was an intimate yet grand affair with 120 family and close friends in attendance, due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. According to reports, the wedding in Udaipur was planned by Niharika’s brother Varun Tej, who is also an actor.On her wedding day, Niharika had earlier been seen in a bright red pattu saree, a contrasting green blouse with Muggam work embroidered on it and matching jewellery. During the Jeela Karra Bellam event, while Niharika was seen in a gold-coloured saree, with a veil over her head, Chaitanya wore a chocolate-brown kurta pyjama set. Sharing a wedding photo, Niharika’s father Nagababu wrote an emotional note about Niharika. “Serious nostalgia hit me all again! It feels like the first day of her school, just that she won't be returning by evening. It took years to make peace with the fact that my baby girl is all grown up to go to school. Just dunno how long it will be this time. Only time will decide,” he said.Family members were seen dressed in grand attire for Niharika and Chaitanya’s wedding. The pre-wedding festivities kick started with a Sangeeth, where Tollywood songs were played. Pictures of Allu Arjun, Sneha Reddy, Ram Charan, Upasana Konidela, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, among others, were also shared widely from the event. The Sangeet was followed by a Mehendi ceremony. The five-day-long wedding extravaganza of Niharika Konidela and Chaitanya Jonnalagadda came to a fairy-tale ending with the couple tying the knot at The Oberoi Udaivilas Palace, Udaipur, on Wednesday night in the presence of their family members and close friends. The momentous occasion was surcharged with joyous clapping and cheering by the gathering.The venue glittered with immaculate and lavish décors. White lilies and flashy lights welcomed the guests at the destination wedding which was trending as #Nischay. The couple looked regal in their wedding attires. While Niharika dazzled in a golden coloured Kanjeevaram sari with contrast blouse, diamond and polki jewellery, and a sparkly nose ring completing her wedding attire, the groom too looked dapper in a purple Sherwani.
